adidas Padiham shoes are a completely new silhouette in a family of three stripes. They were designed by Gary Aspden – curator of adidas Spezial - together with his team. The model is based on the construction of the well-known adidas Samba - an old school football and indoor shoe. This is where the characteristic tongue, the reinforcement of the front and the rubber sole with a pivot point and "hemispheres" were borrowed. It would seem that this is all. However, looking for the genesis of the model name - adidas Padiham, we can come across information that Padiham is a town in Great Britain, and that Ernest Bradshaw was born in it. Coincidence? Knowing Aspden - probably not… With the arrival of the spring / summer 2018 season, adidas Spezial raises the curtain to reveal its next face. This time, the adidas Originals designers took started working on the late 80’s. More specifically, it's inspired by the second "Summer of Love". This year is celebrating its 30th anniversary, so nobody should be surprised by the desire to celebrate it. Designers of adidas, taking up the theme of the jubilee, decided to include in the new collection the electronic spirit rave and acid house, straight from the British scenes. There were also pastel shades and pop culture references, combined with the sports heritage of the brand and the breath of modernity. What exactly did the adidas Originals prepare for us? A package containing several models of shoes (both older and new ones), clothing and accessories. Everything is accompanied by: adidas Originals logo, adidas Spezial and occasional "party" graphics. The rich collection of adidas Spezial has been divided into 2 drops. The first of them will be on store shelves on 9/03/2018, while the second one can be found 2 weeks later - on 23/03/2018. The whole confusion is accompanied by a clip and a lookbook, captured on probably the most partying island - Ibiza. adidas Padiham men's sneakers are made of natural leather. The whole is completed with stripes and an element on the heel, made of synthetic suede and a tongue made of synthetic leather. It is also worth mentioning that there were perforations between the side stripes and the tongue - for better ventilation. Inside, there is a textile lining and insert lined with synthetic leather. The sole on which the upper rests is made of rubber. Each pair was supplemented with additional laces.
